Fatal SUV Auto Accident Kills Riverside Man

41-year-old Robert S. Johnson was killed in a tragic pedestrian accident that occurred on October 31, 2011, around 6:42 p.m. at the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Lake Street. According to Riverside Police Department, Johnson was hit by a sport utility vehicle.

Johnson suffered life threatening injuries and was immediately transported to Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead around 7:13 p.m. From the available information, it is unclear what led to this fatal car wreck. The accident is under investigation.
