Barstow Car Crash Kills Young Pedestrian Crossing I-15
A 23-year-old Barstow man was killed in a serious pedestrian crash that occurred on September 5, 2011, around 10:20 p.m. at Interstate 15 (I-15) north of Main Street in Barstow. According to the San Bernardino County Coroner, the pedestrian was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta while attempting to cross the freeway.
The injured pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene thirteen minutes after this severe crash.
