Two Killed In San Bernardino County Car Accident
Lewis Stokes, 40, was killed in a fatal San Bernardino County car accident that occurred on April 2, 2011, around 4:37 p.m. at Interstate 15 near Bear Valley Road in Hesperia, approximately 167 miles from San Diego. According to the investigating California Highway Patrol Officers, Stokes was driving a Kia Sedona north on the freeway when he lost control and rolled his vehicle multiple times due to unknown reasons.
A passenger in Stokes vehicle was ejected out of the car due to the impact of the auto accident and was also pronounced dead at the accident scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the exact cause of this fatal car accident.
It is unclear what made the car driver lose control of the vehicle. If it is found that the car driver lost control due to any automobile failure, design defect, or an uneven road, then the car manufacturer or the government entity responsible for the roads may be held liable for wrongful death.
Stokes and the other passenger’s family members should consult with an experienced car accident lawyer in San Bernardino County to obtain compensation to cover cost of funeral and burial, loss of earnings and loss of love and companionship.
Our law office offers sincere condolences to all those who knew and loved Stokes and the other victim for their loss.
