Police Search for Suspect in Fatal San Diego Hit-and-Run Car Accident

San Diego police are searching for the driver of a car that allegedly left the scene of the fatal hit-and-run auto accident that occurred early Sunday morning in the Normal Heights neighborhood of San Diego.

The victim of the accident, who is only known so far as a male in his 30s, was struck and killed just after 1:30 a.m. around the 3200 block of Meade Ave. The victim was hit by another vehicle and the victim suffered massive head injuries before being declared dead at the scene. There was no reported license plate of the suspected car that drove off, it was only described as a newer white hatchback.
