Champion Bike Racer Lance Armstrong Falls and Breaks Collarbone
Earlier today, 7-time Tour De France Champion Lance Armstrong fell during the first stage of Spain's Vuelta Castilla y Leon. As a result of the fall, he was rushed to the hospital and treated for a broken collarbone. You can read Lance's statement about the crash here.
I wish Lance a speedy recovery and hope this injury will not effect his chances of winning another Tour this summer. Lance has been not only a champion bicycle racer but also a friend of our San Diego personal injury lawyer, Ross Jurewitz. Lance was kind enough to send a personal gift and message to Mr. Jurewitz's mother-in-law after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
